Bonjour
Sorry, my written French is very bad (although I do understand it) so I will write in English. I hope this is ok. Feel free to reply in French if you feel more comfortable doing so.
We went climbing at the south face of the Aiguilles Dorées last week and we climbed on a route that we could not identify and could not find in any of the topos we had available. I was hoping this is the right place to ask which route it is.
I painted the (approximate) route we climbed into this picture
- It is located south-east of the summit of Aiguille de la Varappe and north-east of Fenêtre de Suzanne at the south face of Aigulles de la Varappe.
- I think the top is sometimes described here as promontoire de l’aiguille sans nom.
- The route has many, new looking bolts and the first 2 pitches follow several beautiful cracks onto a ledge at/just next to a very characteristic pillar:

There we think there is 1 or two pitches left to the top but we ran out of time and rappelled to the ground.
- I am not very experienced in outdoor climbing but I guess the difficulty is about 6c.
Does anybody know this route? I would really appreciate any help!
Best
Daniel
