Cher tous,

nous avons besoin de votre aide! Nous travaillons sur un projet de
recherche sur les sports extrêmes et la prise de risques. Nous avons mis
au point un questionnaire, car aucune donnée n’existe sur ce sujet.
Nous avons besoin d’autant de réponse que possible!!!
Nous vous demandons donc à tous votre aide en remplissant ce
questionnaire sur « l’escalade et la prise de risque ». Vous avez besoin
d’approximativement 15 min.

Ce serait bien de nous indiquer dans quel but est fait ce questionnaire et si on pourra connaître un jour les conclusions.

bon vous l’aurez compris c’est une blague: le ping pong est entièrement de moi. Je voulais simplement J2LHiser le débat, dans l’espoir un peu fou de lui faire comprendre l’inutilité (pour les autres, J2LH, pour les autres, je sais que pour toi c’est important) de ce genre de comportement.

Goal: understand more about risk-taking for a certain type of personality. Can help to update outdated economic theory and financial issues. But the research is interesting on its own for extreme sports and risk-taking relationships.
Results: If there is a demand we can publish the results online once we have them.

The problem is that rock climbing is not an extreme sport and is less dangerous than it seens to be. Most of the time risk-taking is not what climbers are searching for and most of them hate risk-taking.

well, if that is what we find then we will inform you. We talked to quite a few climbing friends before we did the questionnaire and apparently risk-seeking seems to be an important factor. Let’s see what the questionnaire results will tell us…
That’s why it is important that as many people as possible answer in order to get some good results!
