Hmm oui étrange…
Txikon est espagnol et il n’est pas seul (mais il n’est pas encore au CB de l’Everest).
Sinon on a bien déjà deux allemands au CB, Kobusch et son photographe. Mais seul Kobusch vise le sommet.
Ça ressemble à un doux mélange de « the independant » repris bêtement par « le point »
Feraient mieux de suivre les forums C2C.

Un article de quelqu’un qui n’y connait rien, destiné à des lecteurs qui n’y connaissent rien, et sans le souci de les éclairer, au contraire car c’est bourré de clichés et d’informations approximatives.
Plutôt affligeant en fait.
Niveau rubrique internationale du daubé ou météo du 20 h.

Oui j’ai vu mais pas vu de lien vers la source.
Donc difficile d’accuser la source sans savoir exactement ce qu’elle a dit et la part d’interprétation de l’indépendant.
Après c’est clair que le Népal, comme le Pakistan, sont en pleine campagne de promotion touristique.

Finalement Tamara et Simone ne sont pas restés longtemps au CB et ils ont enfin réussi hier à forcer le passage vers le C1.
Simone a porté l’échelle et Tamara faisait la trace, mais la crevasse sur laquelle ils avaient envisagé de la poser s’était élargie, trop large pour l’échelle. Ils ont finalement trouvé un autre passage.
Simone affirme que ces 10 jours à forcer le passage de la cascade de glace ont été aussi fatigants qu’une ascension aller-retour sur un 8000. Il se demande aussi si le séisme (il y a eu un séisme fin décembre je crois dans la région) n’a pas contribué à fragmenter encore plus la cascade de glace… (ça reste une hypothèse…)

6700, c’est bon il peut filer au K2, il a rentabilisé son permis d’ascension du BP ;)(6500 max le permis de trekking je crois)
Non je pense qu’il va tenter de finir le BP (première hivernale selon lui)
Avec un peu de chance (météo) pourquoi pas d’ici la fin du mois. Un petit mois restant pour le K2 ? Ça paraît court (très) mais il sera acclimaté. Et quand Urubko acclimaté, lui toujours monter très vite.
L’équipe de Mingma était à Urdukas hier je crois et devrait donc atteindre le camp de base du K2 demain ou lundi.

Simone et Tamara sont repartis vers le C1 ce matin, au vu d’une météo beaucoup plus favorable que prévu.

Denis devait redescendre au CB mais du coup la météo lui a-t-elle fait changer d’avis??

Batura : aucune nouvelle. Quelqu’un sait où on peut suivre cette expédition?

J’ai pas trouvé d’info directed non plus, y a des gens au courant sur tweeter (Russianclimbs). On en saura peut être plus une fois les choses sérieuses lancées ?

En attendant, Kobusch est monté au C1 hier en 10h, repos aujourd’hui avant d’aller vers un camp 2 demain.

Tutto è bene quel che finisce bene. Senza stare a girare troppo attorno al concetto, ieri siamo arrivati veramente a un soffio da un epilogo tragico e funesto sia per me che per Tamara. Eravamo intenzionati a passare due notti sulla montagna, raggiungere campo 1, dormire lì e il giorno dopo dirigerci verso campo 2. Eravamo FINALMENTE fuori dalla cascata di ghiaccio, avevamo superato anche l’ultimo grosso crepaccio e procedevamo sul plateau sommitale. Sempre legati perché sapevamo che i crepacci erano sempre in agguato e antenne sempre dritte ma il morale alto e la soddisfazione di aver superato tutto Il labirinto di ghiaccio grande. Ma la giornata non era finita e quello che ci aspettava terribile. Approcciando un crepaccio mi sono messo come sempre in posizione per assicurare Tamara che per prima lo ha attraversato e si è poi portata in zona di sicurezza, 20 metri oltre il crepaccio. Poi è venuto il mio turno e dopo una frazione di secondo, mi si è aperta una voragine sotto i piedi e sono precipitato. Tamara ha subìto uno strappo tanto violento che è letteralmente volata fino al bordo del crepaccio e io in caduta libera a testa in giù per 20 metri sbattendo schiena gambe e glutei sulle lame di ghiaccio sospese nel budello senza fine in cui continuavo a scendere. Largo non più di 50 cm, tutto buio. Sopra Tamara aveva la corda avvolta intorno alla mano e gliela stringeva come una morsa e le provocava dolori lancinanti e insensibilità. Io ero al buio e lei lentamente scivolava sul ciglio del crepaccio. Il tutto complicato dal fatto che lei aveva le racchette da neve ai piedi. Sono riuscito con una mano a mettere un primissimo precario ancoraggio e, pur sentendomi lentamente scendere verso l’abisso ho avuto la lucidità di prendere la vite da ghiaccio che avevo all’imbrago e fissarla nella parete liscia e dura del crepaccio. Quella vite ha fermato lo scivolamento mio e la probabile caduta nel crepaccio di Tamara. Da lì, senza entrare nei dettagli, ci siamo inventati il modo di uscire. Quasi due ore dopo. Contorsionismi e mille sforzi mi hanno permesso al buio e schiacciato tra due pareti larghe 50 cm. e risalire in piolet traction tutto il crepaccio. Tremolante e con mille contusioni ho abbracciato Tamara che piangeva anche dal dolore alla mano. Mentre salivo era riuscita ad organizzare una bella sosta di recupero e ad assicurarmi mentre scalavo i 20 interminabili metri di ghiaccio liscio. Siamo scesi al campo base che, già allertato e rassicurato via radio. Oggi ho organizzato l’evacuazione di trasportata con richiesta di accertamenti medici per entrambi. Oggi i dolori sono più forti e la mano di Tamara parzialmente insensibile e non utilizzabile. --- All's well that ends well. Without going too far around the concept, yesterday we really came just a breath away from a tragic and disastrous epilogue for both Tamara and me. We were planning to spend two nights on the mountain, reach camp 1, sleep there and then head to camp 2 the next day. We were FINALLY out of the icefall, we had passed the last big crevasse and proceeded to the summit plateau. Always tied up because we knew that the crevasses were always lurking and antennas were always straight but the morale was high and the satisfaction of having overcome everything. The big ice maze. But the day was not over and what lay ahead was terrible. Approaching a crevasse I put myself in position as always to secure Tamara who first crossed it and then moved into the safety zone, 20 meters beyond the crevasse. Then it was my turn and after a split second, a chasm opened under my feet and I fell. Tamara suffered such a violent tear that she literally flew to the edge of the crevasse while I free falling upside down for 20 meters banging back legs and buttocks on the blades of ice suspended in the endless gut where I continued to descend. No more than 50 cm wide, in complete darkness. Above Tamara had the rope wrapped around her hand and held it like a vice and caused her excruciating pain and numbness. I was in the dark and she was slowly sliding down the edge of the crevasse. All complicated by the fact that she had snowshoes on her feet. I managed with one hand to put a very precarious first anchorage and, while feeling myself slowly descending towards the abyss, I had the lucidity to take the ice screw I had in my harness and secure it in the smooth and hard wall of the crevasse. That screw stopped me from slipping and probably pulling down Tamara into the crevasse. From there, without going into details, we invented the way out. Almost two hours later. hours of contortion and an excruciating effort I was able to climb up in piolet traction the whole crevasse, completely in the dark and squeezed between two walls 50 cm wide. Shivering and with a thousand bruises I hugged Tamara who was also crying from the pain in her hand. While I was climbing she had managed to organize a nice recovery stop and to secure me while I was climbing the 20 endless meters of smooth ice. We descended to base camp, who had already been alerted and reassured by radio. Today I organized the evacuation with a request for medical checks for both of us. Today the pains are obviously stronger and Tamara's hand is partially numb out of use. La team k2winterclimb a officiellement fait son retour aussi, et diffusé des vidéos de sorties pyrénéennes faites depuis.
Bon, c’est sans doute pas pour les mêmes raisons…
Pas de bol pour moro et lunger, bon rétablissement à eux.
