hi there

i’m planning to leave this friday for a week-climb in seynes.
Therefore i have 2 questions:

-since my french ain’t that good. can someone give me a english or even flemish ( i’m not saying dutch to make clear i’m not from holland  ) translation of the whole anchorpoint discussion, are they relieable? if not, which route or sector is really not done? you see, i don’t want to get fucked up there.

-second. Are there some locals or people who often climb in seynes in here? so…which route is really nice? which one i really have to do? i heard about dinosaure bit thats where it ends.

bon,

je vous remercie… or something like that

FIRST AID  about Seynes

My understanding is that one sort of equipment is dangerous : the ‹ bis › anchorpoints. May be you know, this is that kind of ring with 2 legs, ‹ U › shaped. See photos on ‹ DANGER A SEYNES › post, dated 04 fév 2005 10:06.
So the point is : NO CLIMBING ON EACH ROUTE WITH ‹ BIS › RINGS.

The replacing of that stuff is planned very shortly (march for sure). But it could take a long time as you can guess.
So in this condition, doe it worth a special journey ? I don’t know.

does anyone know if the majority of the routes are equiped with these anchorpoints? Or just some of them? in which grades?

PLS can i get some serious english information about this?

just too bad, I speak english but i’ve never climbed in Seynes, sorry guy.
But if anyone writes an answer in French I’d make a point of it to translate it for you. Good luck anyway, and enjoy your climbing, wherever it is. Louis
