Snow level Via Alpina

Hi. I am starting the Via Alpina green route Friday from Montreux. What is the snow like on the higher passes?. Will I need crampons?. Thanks

It depends on the passes, but i think you will.
What is the higher pass?

I think that some of the passes are over 2500 mtrs. Looks like I will put them in the bag so. Thanks

Ok.For example, the great saint bernard pass is full of snow…exept on the road though!
