Dear Brian,
Although I am not living in Valais full-time, I will be doing a 6 days tour from Val d herens to the Monte Rosa on 22-31 April with a few friends. This will be in ful autonomy, heavy ruck sacks and long days…If you are interested to jin, we are planning to pass in Zermatt on 26 April before e tour of the Monte Rosa.
Let me know about your experience in mountaineering as well please.

I’d like to go for a 2-3 hut to hut trip wherevever the touring is good between Zermatt and Cahmonix. I have a lot of experience ski touring in the Coast Mountains in Canada.
Are you up for it? Any suggestions for an easy to intermediate route?
