Refuge Gonella

Est-ce que quelqu’un peut me confirmer la présence d’un refuge d’hiver (même spartiate+++) à Gonella.Des sites sont affirmatifs mais le site officiel n’en parle pas et nous accueille d’un « Refuge fermé, accès interdit » (gloups!!).Il me semble qu’il s’agit d’un refuge CAI donc normalement refuge d’hiver.Si en plus vous avez des infos sur les crevasses du glacier du dome en cette fin d’été pluvio-neigeux (c’est pour la descente) ça serait parfait. Hello Yann,

apologies for the answer in English, hope you will understand. The Gonella hut is NOT accessible, as it’s being rebuilt completely, and the equipped trail below the hut platform is closed, as it’s dangerous because of the possibility of rock fall from above. The « summer » hut is now being demolished and rebuilt, and the winter hut (actually, the historical hut) is not accessible. You may bivouac near the hut platform, but you can do it at your own risk.

The new Gonella hut was supposed to be ready for this autumn, but now looks like it wont be finished before next summer.

Le refuge Gonella est actuellement fermé et son accès interdit, suite à de dangereux éboulements.
