Dear all -
I would like to go to the Alps for Christmas and do some nice ski randos. But I know this is early for the snow, where would be the best place to go? Don’t need to be lot of powder, but a nice place with plenty of possibilites for easy/medium randos (1000/1500 meters).

Fajnym miejscem jest np. Passo del Sempione, w Szwacari tuz przy granicy z Włochami.
Jest tam wiele tras, łatwiejszych i trudniejszych np Mt Leone, Breithorn, Boshorn. Wygodny nocleg np w budynku klasztoru (Ospizio del Sempione) tuż u podnóża tras, z wygodnym dojazdem samochdem, lub niedaleko w jednym z pensjonatów.
Nie tak daleko są też termy.
Nice place is for example Passo del Sempione in Switzerland, near Italy.
On a sunny day You’ll meet a lot of people skitouring. There are many different (easy and difficult) tours; Mt Leone, Breithorn, Boshorn… Comfortable place to stay is an old monastery (Ospzio del Sempione), just next to the place where the tours starts, so you go out put your skis and start your tour. If there are no places left you shuold find one in some kind of chalet…
I’ve been there few times, once during Eastern. Really nice atmosphere.
