Online maps/carte numerique

hey,

i’m looking for online maps for the alps, especially the french alps:

so far i got this for…

… switzerland: http://www.swissinfo-geo.org/index.htm
… austria: http://www.austrianmap.at/
… and the state of tirol in austria with some more features: http://www.tirol.gv.at/applikatione...geodienst.shtml

but i’m desperately missing an online map of the french alps. thanks, gregor

je suis à la recherche d’une carte numérique des alpes francaises sur l’internet et gratuite.

pour l’autriche et la suisse, j’ai trouvé les suivantes:

l’autriche: http://www.austrianmap.at/

la suisse: http://www.swissinfo-geo.org/index.htm

mais il me manque encore la region pour laquelle j’ai commencé la recherche: les alpes francaises, notamment: le département haute savoie… (je me suis rendu compte que un google en francais est un peu trop sophistiqué pour moi…)

existe-il quelque chose comparable pour la france? je serais très content si quelqu’un pouvait m’aider…

Memory maps are soon to release the entire alps (IGN 1:25000 series bleu) on their interactive CD series. It lets you see everything in 2d or 3D with either map or aerial photo data superimposed on the topography. You can plot map extracts with your route added for encapsulation, see height gain/loss of a route, download everything to a GPS etc, etc. I think it retails at about £100 but well worth every penny…not sure if this is what you meant or whether you were looking for a freebee?
