Oisans Valley

Posted as guest by Alison Parker:

I’m going to the Oisans valley (staying in La Grave) over New Year to do some ice climbing but fancied a couple of days of easy mountaineering too. Does anyone know what routes are likley to be possible and not avalanche prone at that time of year? Which guidebook covers the area well for winter ascents?

Thanks
