Looking for someone to climb with near Lausanne, Switzerland!

I’ll be Living in Lausanne until December of this year, and I’m looking for someone to climb with! I dont have a car, but would definitely be willing to help pay gas to get out to wherever. I’m hoping to get out to St-Loup to climb… Anyone in the area?

Thanks!

Evan

you can try your luck with the club montagne from EPFL (swiss institute of technology). We go climbing once a week.

Awesome! Thanks so much!

If you want to go climbing in St Loup, you don’t absolutly need a car. You can take the train 'til La Sarraz, and then by stop or on your feet to the cliffs.
In automn you’ll easily find someone to climb in the bottom of the cliffs, especially in the « Sector Principal »

Yea… I stopped by Yosemite (In Lausanne) the other day and one of the guys working there said that not too many people climb there during this time of year… So is it true that I might not find anyone there if i were to stop y in the next few days?

The summer is really not the good season to climb in St Loup, it’s really to hot! It become at a good temperature about september til november; and from end of febuary to june.
Now you better go in Aiguilles de Baulmes or in Leysin; or anywhere else in the mountains…
