Climbing around Antibes without a car

Hey,

I am living in Antibes and I am new to this area. Next week a friend from Germany is going to visit me and we want to go climbing in the mountains. We have all the necessary climbing equipment, but unfortunately we don’t have a car. Is it possible to go somewhere by bus or train?

Is there anyway for you to go to Colle-sur-Loup or Gourdon by example? You’ll find some climbing areas there. I’m not familiar neither with the area nore with the public transportation there, but I’m sure you’ll find something.
I hope that someone from there will answer you.

Well I live in this area but I have not a good idea of where you can go climbing easily around here without a car !
Many buses go to Pont du Loup (Mesa Verde, Hermitage), Peille (Peillon), La Turbie, Gréolières, Saint-Auban… but not necessarily starting from Antibes.

I am living in Juan Les Pins near of Antibes, I climb almost each Week end with a friend… I have a car thus you can come with us… we are a different site… In exchange, just a biere in the PUB… ; )
