The British Section of the Austrian Alpine Club are organising a guided Ski traverse of the Albula Alps in Switzerland for experienced tourers from Julier Pass (Bivio) north towards Fluelapass (Zernez). The dates are 18th - 24th March 2007. The cost is E568 plus expenses. There are currently 2 / 3 places left. If you are interested please e-mail me for full details.

I have done the Haute Route in pieces, also parts of Berner Oberland.
Also Saas Fee to Andermatt.
I have plenty of touring experience but the big question is if you are in the extreme category (Ski down Everest, etc) or just what description would characterize your group?

Coincidentally, I will fly from the US 19March and barely miss you. Quite some time back I locked into a flight and decided to go alone with my very very good guide. You folks may be self-guided. I have bagged a few easy peaks but my heart is mainly in trekking A to B. Have gone Chamonix to Andermatt so far with side trips to Berner Oberland, Gstaad area etc. This trip is to press on for Innsbrück after the historic Gotthard pass. Snow may be an issue but I enjoy A-frame hiking with my new super light Goodes.
This guide is an ultra civilized Swiss ex-Olympian in rowing…from Luzern so that figures.
Only mention all this just in the unlikely chance you want to pass on someone who would enjoy a « special » tour probably less arduous and more expensive than yours.
