Hi Jon, what rappel line are you talking about? is there a way to descend faster/directly to the finsteraahorn hutte?

Hi,
There is a rappel line from the col between the summit and Grunneghorn, south east side.
It is considered a summer rappel line as in winter the first two anchors tend to be covered on snow and hence hard to find; however, the first two rappels can be down climbed.
These rappels are documented on the club alpine swiss website vaguely, but there is a climb alpine swiss topo book that has a superb description.
