I agree with the whole precise description by Mikolaj, as he said do remember to « Fresh skis AND SKINS wax absolutely necessary. Snow was sticking to skins in extreme ways. » First time in my life (after ~10 relatively good seasons) I had so much snow under the skis, and while the weight is one thing, even more important - it was very disruptive to going up, even as I was following a traced route by Mikolaj who led. I was just sliding down out of the trace. Dangerous and tiring. Taking the icy snow off the skins helped for a while before the snow stuck again…
